OK, didn't love what the last doc suggested, and I scheduled another consult with another gyn/onc. Getting my records tomorrow (will make copies for myself, while I'm at it) and really looking forward to Tuesday the 9th at 10:45.

While I'm posting, let me ask--I'm sure many of you have had ct scans. I had one with IV contrast that was all clear. The first gyn/onc dismissed it as basically useless. Any idea why? That was a question I should have asked, but didn't. I'll ask the new guy but in the meantime, any thoughts?

Stella,

There is a debate on how useful CTs really are because they can't detect metastatic disease until it is about 2cm. Oncs often like to get one at diagnosis to serve as a "baseline" so they know if the little spot on your liver was always there or whether it is new.
