Back to the castle

Hi girls,
I finally had my second ultra sound to find out my mass has grown and has solid components as well as fluid. My CA125 was within normal range. I have not seen the numbers yet. So I go in to schedule surgery Tuesday the 9th. This is my one and last Ovarie. Guess I'll be checking out the hormone jungle too.
I have a question, with a mass on the ovarie about the size of a grapefruit (i dont know the exact numbers yet). Do they still use a scope to remove it or not? Dr. said just because my blood test levels are good does not mean that it is cancer free.
On top of it all my boss threw a big fit today and said I could not leave her for 6 weeks if it takes that long or longer to recuperate. That stressed me out even more.
Thanks for being here

Best Wishes for Surgery

Have you spoken with a gynecologic oncologist? If there is solid matter in this mass you may want a consult with one. As for your boss, let her have her temper tantrum. You take what you need to recover! She can survive...but may find out just how much you do!

Hi, Shelby. Just wanted to check in and say good luck to you as you go through this next phase. You'll hear this a lot on this forum: If cancer is suspected, make sure that you see a gyn oncological surgeon. They're the specialists in this area.

As far as your boss, gee, what a surprise coming from a female! You make sure that you take care of yourself and let her come around to her senses (hopefully, sooner rather than later)!
