How much does a normal uterus weigh?

Got my path report in hand today, says mine was 565 gms. I take it that's a lot?

On the upside, the path report was positively poetic. I had no idea my uterus was "tan and velvety", "glistening", and "lacy."

How much does a normal uterus weigh?

Don't know how much my uterus weighed (was told it was size of 20 week pregnancy); however, fibroid was just over five lbs. Lost sixteen lbs. during week in castle.

Uterus

Hello there,
My Uterus weighed in at 974 g: a monster alien! No poetic descriptions for me, alas. And it was only afterwards that my ds (dear surgeon!) said "oh, I should have taken pictures". To be honest, they weren't something I wanted to stick in my album!
All the best.

How much does a normal uterus weigh?

My doctor said a normal uterus should weigh between 60-80 grams. Mine weighed 133 grams. Which equals .29 pounds. So that really doesn't add up to much.

Hope you are doing well. Stay strong
