(((Limbo)))

I hope your chemo today is easy on you but really, really tough on those cancer cells. I'll be keeping you in my thoughts and 'ers today.

Use my favorite image if you want as you're having chemo or whatever works for you. I like to think of those cancer cells sitting around in a smoke-filled room, drinking little mugs of beer and playing poker. (Incidentally, this never happened in my childhood nor do I smoke, drink or play poker.) The party is in full swing when the chemo enters the room...and the party is over, nothing but dead cancer cells...

Limbo,

All the best to you...and the worst to those cancer cells!

I love Ellen's image of that poker game!

Or picture one of those old-time saloons in a TV Western, filled with these villainous cancer cells in black hats,...and the doors suddenly swing open, and IN COMES THE SHERIFF, in the form of chemo!

It's all over for the villains!

Blessings.

bThanks for the well wishes everyone. I had a long day yesterday. The blood lab in the oncologists office was down so my blood draw had to be sent out for testing which took about an hour and a 1/2. So I didn't get started until noon, though I'd been scheduled for 10:00. I managed to finish by 5:30 though because they had my carbo ready to go after the taxol finished. Usually they wait to send for it until the taxol is done.

The exam went well and my doc says everything still looks good. Blood work was good and we're starting to talk about wrapping things up which is SO exciting. We'll schedule a CAT scan when the next treatment is done, but he says he doesn't expect to see anything.

As some of you may know, Ive been having some problems with fatigue by the end of the day since I went back to work last month. My back trouble has really flared up so I finally saw my GP over that. She thinks I have osteoarthritis in my lower spine. I guess that can really cause fatigue, too, so maybe it's really that. I have noticed it's the days my back is really bugging me that my hips and legs get so fatigued. At least that calms my cancer head some. But I really didn't like hearing that news either.
