shaving

My hair for some reason is growing back less densely but the upper line is higher than before ..

Part of it is now growing just about the incision nd its irritating . I dare not pluck for fear of pain and I tried shaving and got the dreaded itch . Yet how does one trim the hair so close to the incision ?

Its irritating the incision .

Hi mei,
Call and ask your doctor if you can put something on your incision. I was allowed to use some vitamin E on mine when it became irritating. Make sure you ask, only you and your doctor know the stage of healing your incision is in. Mine was closed and healing wonderfully. I hope you find some relief soon.

Hi sister,

I noticed also the it seemed like the hairline is higher--my theory on that is --because we are still swollen "down there" it looks like the hair is higher and as the swelling goes down--things will return to "normal"--I hope!

hairline

Im not an expert on this by any means but maybe they shaved you higher than your normal hairline for sanatization reasons. You have hair on your belly that is so fine that you cant really see it normally (on all your body for that matter) if this is the case the hair that was not noticable before may be growing back darker than it was before and a little higher from the shave line. I know when they shaved my back for spinal surgery in 88 i said what the heck are you doing shaving my back im not hairy back there they said ah yep you have hair back there even if you cant see it. My guess is this is what happened to you that they shaved higher than your pubic hair was before and its now growing back darker and higher.
Just a guess
