Spreading the word.

It has been at least a month since I have visted this site. I don't know what to say except I'm sorry. I've got a lot going on.

This site and all its members have been so wonderful to me and to my mental state. In fact, I asked the nurse who works for my onco surgeon if she had gone to site and looked around. I had printed out one of the flyers (available on this website) about our website and asked that she post it for other women in need. I also told her to visit the site and see what she thought. She said that she was very impressed with the site and how much information was available.

Kathy, (the nurse) said she has given the website address to every women who has come through the office with a gyno cancer.

So, I just wanted to let you know that I have been spreading the word about HysterSisters and its beautiful women.

Spreading the word.

So happy to read your post, Forgen.

I, too, spread the word every chance I get. Sometimes I think that people will get on the website, see my username (which, of course, is my name), read some posts and then will "know" more about me than I care to let out to the general public. I quickly turn that around and say, "Oh, who cares?" I get more out of this site than they could ever imagine!

Please keep posting and let us know how you're doing. You're often in my thoughts and prayers.

Spreading the word.

Hi, forgen! I've been wondering how you're doing; still have you in my prayers.

I keep encouraging my doc to go on (pretty sure I've never posted anything negative about her...lol) so she can spread the word to her patients. Gotta print out a brochure for the office.

Please give us an update on how you're feeling.

Yes, Forgen,

I've been wondering how yo've been doing. I'm so glad you've come back, but we do worry when you're away and wonder about your health (physical, emotional, spiritual)

Good to See You On

Your awareness work is wonderful! Every woman who becomes more aware of gyn. cancer can then spread the word to many others and Hysters is a great site--friendly, informational, just for venting, etc. How are you? I put you in the church prayer book evrey week and include you in my prayers and good thoughts. Ellen

How right you are Maureen!!

I also keep spreading the word. This really is one big family full of encouragement, laughter, tears, and hope for each and everyone.

Some of us have met and some of us have not but it really does not make a difference. Just being able to talk to someone who totally understands is marvelous.

Be well everyone.

Spreading the word.

I have recommended this site and this community to at least 15 women I've met with ovaca. And I don't think that even one has checked it out, despite many reminders from me. So sad. They are really missing out.

Forgen, I have also been thinking about you and wondering how you are doing, or whether you're pursuing any non-traditional treatments to see whether that might help a bit. Please do let us know how you are.

Hi Forgen.

Thanks for continuing to spread the word about HS. I try to do that too....not sure if anyone has joined as a result, but at least the word is out there.

Yes, I too was wondering how you are doing. Are you feeling up to giving us an update? We do care so much about you!

I wear my teal pin as much as I remember to. Even my dad asked why. I told him all about the support I get from thils wonderful siteand wear my pin for speading the awareness. Pluls i like to be rememinded I am s a survivor, not a victim. Most of the people I speak to do not want to remember I had a fight with cancer.
