The appointment

Well, the appointment actually happened this afternoon. I am now on the waiting list for surgery. I have decided to wait until my uro-gyn is back from her maternity leave, as I would like to have her do the surgery. The option was her partner, but that doctor has the "nurse from ****". and I would really not have to deal with that nurse. She is planning to use mesh and donor fascia again. She also said that the repair could be done with a spinal instead of general. Since I get very nausea with general even gave me Zolfran. I still tossed my cookies all over the nurse who didn't believe me that I was going to throw up.....

Anyways still no answers about my bladder problems (didn't expect answers). I have nerve damage prior to the hyst. So, more waiting and seeing if I have any more episodes where I can't pee (last one lasted three weeks). Then maybe more testing. I'm not worried about it, as I can self manage with self catherising if necessary.

How long will I wait?

Hi (((Levanah))) I'm relieved that you actually got in to see the doctor I guess that ensuring you recieve the right car is important enough to warrant the wait: I know that I would have been ready to wait a long time to ensure that my surgery was performed by the doctor I so trust.

I'm sorry you still didn't get any answers about your bladder problems. Hopefully this problem will not recur. If it does, it might be a good idea to go to the ER while the problems are occurring.

Sending lots of s your way and wishing you all the best.
