hard incision

I have a vertical incision....starting at belly button and going beyond pubic hair. The part under where my pubic hair was is harder than the rest. Any ideas? Thanks.

hard incision

My incision is horizontal, but I am experiencing the same hardness, but it is generally the entire length of the incision--mostly on the bottom.

The doctor checked it on Friday, and said, hmmmm....this is still pretty hard. Don't worry, it will go away in a few months.

MONTHS?

It's not inflamed or anything so I wasn't really worried.

hard incision

Sandy,
I just went to my dr last Fri. and asked him why I had this hard line and a small lump in the middle of my incision and he checked it and told me not to worry that it was just the sutures that will go away when it heals. He did make me feel good that he said that I am slim enough that I can feel it more. He said lots of women don't even realize it's there.
No need to worry,
Anne

I have bumped up a thread called Info on Scars, I think it may help you ladies with any hardness in your incisions.
