Woried & Scared Cervical Cancer Update

I heard from my Gyn. this am. He consulted with the Gyn/Oncologist this am and he feels I need further evaluation and treatment. I will be scheduled for a CT Scan and Chest X-ray right away and will be scheduled for abdominal surgery (had TVH on 02/25/04 for heavy periods, fibroids) to remove my ovaries and to have my lymph nodes sampled.

If anyone has been through the same thing I would love to hear from you as this is all so scary to me. Waiting on test result and pathology reports seems to be the hardest for me.

Dear Donna,
The waiting is the hardest for me, too.

They took all my "stuff" at once, so I don't have any tips regarding your specific situation. My very best wishes on a favorable outcome!
