Endoscopy Today/Hida Scan Next

Hi Ladies,

Just wanted to let everyone know that today I had an endoscopy and the Dr. said that I have NERD not GERD, some IBS, and Tenderness near the Bile Ducts. I guess NERD is like GERD but there is no inflammation in the esphogas. Dr. says to continue taking Prevaid as it has helped, continue to avoid chocolate, coffee and foods that bother me, asked when my last ultra sound was- 2003, and finally said he was going to recommend to my primary doctor that I have a Hida Scan because I may have a sluggish gallbladder.

YEAH! After 16 mos, I am finally getting closer. I will continue to keep everyone posted.
