I'm having my period

not really a period but the symptoms. I woke up this morning with a backache and headache. This is the week I would have had my period. It is so weird. I feel tired like I do when I have a period. It is so nice to not have the bleeding though. I'm having the usual menstrual symptoms too- grumpy and emotional. I hope that this will end! Yuck!

You still have one ovary left. The Dr. told me that if they leave the ovaries I will still experience PMS symptoms the only way I wouldn't is if they would do a complete oopherectomy.
I too have had my normal PMS symptoms this week, including tender breasts, and the normal crabbiness, lol.
I have a girlfriend that had a TAH 1 1/2 years ago. She still has her ovaries. She said the first 6 months or so postop she also had PMS symptoms but she no longer does. One can only hope right?
