I Wore jeans today!!!!!!!

They fit too! DH finally said that I look like I lost weight. After 20#, I should say so!

Im only 4 days post op. Wont even try those jeans yet.

congratulations! I had my surgary on march5th total abdominal.. the jeans are too snug on incision and most of time i can't stand anything touching it...plus i still have the swelly belly
that is awesome and man am I jealous!

I am so jealous! I had my surgery the day before you did and I don't even have an incision (LAVH), but I sure have swelly belly and I haven't even tried my jeans yet. Maybe I will tonight. No guts, no glory!

I am 8 weeks and worn a pair of regular jeans to work today for the first time!! I was wearing a size bigger a few weeks ago but this was a first for me! I have to say that the bottom of the zipper of most still hurts my incision also.

It felt so good being back in them though!

I wore a panty girdle under the jeans, that helped with the "rubbing"

I'm 6 weeks post op and wore my"fat girl" jeans at 5 weeks, I'm still not into my nonperiod nonbloating jeans yet, but went shopping yesterday and bought new jeans that show my belly button and two new short tops - One of my friends told me last summer I dress too old (I'm 44 - single but committed, no kids). I called Tina, my friend, yesterday afternoon to tell her I bought one thing she would approve of - now can't wait for an occasion to wear them - didn't have swelly belly when I bought them - hope they are still comfortable and cute when I do -- but will be sure to have a big shirt or sweater to wear over if they aren't.

It has been really stressing to get ready to go to work every day - I went in the hospital and it was winter (2-13), I came out and it was spring, now in the deep south its almost hot. One thing about my summer linen clothes -- they "stretch out" as the day goes so what my feel tight in the a.m. has loosened up by afternoon - so after wearing the new stuff I bought -- no white pants though - after years of not wearing white I still couldn't bring my self to buy white pants for summer. Next shopping trip.
