A memorial thread for TammyDW

Oh, how I hate when reality rears its ugly face to me.

I am so saddened by the passing of Tammy. What a beautiful person she was. She helped so many of us who came after her.

My prayers are for her family, that they may find peace knowing that Tammy's fight is done and she is at rest. God bless them all.

My life is richer because of her. Someone else already expressed what I feel now: I didn't know how important each and every one of you wonderful ladies means to me. You were (and still are) there for me when I need you... and I'm so grateful you are in my life.

with sympathy

My deepest sympathy goes out to her husband, children, family and friends. I didn't get to know Tammy through this web-site but it sounds like she was an excellent friend to many.

My eyes too are swimming in tears as I read the posts in this memorial thread.

We "know" that death is but a passing to a new and vibrant life, but "knowing" it doesn't touch the pain of the untimely loss of a companion on the journey.

But God is never not on time....and Tammy's passing into His arms happened not because her time was cut short, but because her work here was done and the Master wanted her home--for her reward, and no doubt to rise to new levels of love and involvement with us from her heavenly home.

Someone once said to me, "Good health is the long road to heaven, illness is the short road." For some, a long race is required; others get to the finish line much sooner.

Tammy, remember us as you soar into heavenly glory. Jesus tells us that a seed has to die in order to produce an abundance of new life. May there be a new abundance of love, generosity, and joy sown from your life that has now reached its destiny.

Deep peace.
Marlene

Tammy, you are now at peace. You will live on in the hearts of your husband, children, and family. And you will not be forgotten by your Sisters here.

I am so sorry for everyone!!

I started reading some of your post the other night regarding Tammy and some of other people who hadnt been posting much lately. I thought like everyone else life just got busy or maybe she just wasnt able to get on the computer for some reason. Well I read the answer tonight. It is so sad. All that you go through with growing up and being a teenager and worrying about getting your first period, and bleeding through your underwear the first time (petrified), premarital sex and the possibility of getting pregnant, then the scare of STD's, then getting Pregnant again in later years ,birth control, yeast infections, urinary tract infections, and then to find out what gave pleasure and life is not good anymore and something needs to come out or medicated or burned out. I am so sad for all of of this. I am sad for Tammy and her family and all her friends in her life who loved her. I am sad for everyone here she helped. She will no longer be there as I am for mine. I am mostly sad I didnt get to know a person who sounded kind and genuine...things that are not easy to find these days. I hope your journey Tammy has become less cumbersomed and we will carry on your support and friendships to other women here. May God be with you always..... ALOHA LINDA

I am heartbroken to read the news of Tammy's passing. Though I don't post often here on CC, I frequently check-in as I feel a bond. Tammy's posts were uplifting and she was an inspiration to many of us.

I am at a loss for words, but I feel for her family and dear children who have lost their beloved mother at far too young an age. I grieve with all of her HysterSisters who had the good fortune to have her pass into our lives.

Although I am only a recent member, I have read many of Tammy's posts and knew of her support of others even as she was weathering her own ordeals.

Tammy was a great person -- I would have liked to have been her friend.

My sympathies to her loving family and friends.
