1 week back to work - please advise

Hello Sisters!

Last week was my first week back to work and it was so awful! It had to be the most stressful week of my life! I'm an administrative assistant and thought I could go back full time upon my return. Boy, was I wrong! Ladies, if you can, go back part-time until you get back into the swing of things, do it. I was so tired every day that I could hardly function. Besides being exhausted and the high stress of work, I had to take my husband to the hospital because he pulled his back out, so I lost practically a whole night's sleep during the week. Now that I have vented a little about all of that, I have a question for you.

On Friday at 3:30 p.m., we got word that we had to clean out our boss's office. (It is an empty position right now, but they are going to fill it soon.) Since I'm the admin. assistant, I guess my co-workers expected me to do it myself. If was so upset and mad! I don't feel I'm 100% better yet. Could moving heavy books, etc. damage anything inside? My TAH was 02/14/04. All day today, (Saturday) I've been having sharp pains on my left side were my ovary used to be. I also felt crampy last night. By the way, I did make the other co-workers help and told them I would not move anything heavy!

Does anyone need an AA?

1 week back to work - please advise

I was due to return back to work on 4/19. I decided that I needed more time off because I knew that once I returned it would be crazy. I am also an AA. I do alot of walking, pushing lifting, sitting, etc. At 6wks postop I can't don't walk very fast and my doctor still has me on restrictive duties at work and home (still no vacuuming, sweeping, mopping or heavy lifting). Take care of yourself!
