Very Scared

Hey, I'm in my late twenties and my biopsy revealed cervical cancer stage 1A2. I had to have a hysterectomy and chemotherapy (all since diagnosis in December) and they are recommending radiation on top. Dysplasia is not as bad as an actual tumor. I have a beautiful 9 year old and he's dealt remarkably well with my chemo and surgery, any type of surgery heals quickly. Best of luck, and remember, life is precious!

I had a Cone Biopsy in 1990 .. did fine with it .. just hard to sit down for about a week .. not much worse than natural childbirth ..I got my Paps regular every six months the once a year all clean ..well I let it go for about 3 years and bam ! I got this Fibroid .. total Hysterectomy ..in 2003 .. just make sure you get your Paps regular .. you will come through the Cone Biopsy just fine .. If you were going to have another child after this procedure I cannot think of a better way to sluff off tissue .. plus you get another bundle of joy to boot ! Try not to worry it is very common procedure . Good Luck !
