incisional pain/relief from

I am new, tomorrow will be two weeks post op. Everyday I suffer from incision pain, making body moving difficult. I use Tylenol #3 for relief. I am also a Fibromyalgia person and on Ty 3 on a regular basis. So it is not working quite so well.

I also find that I become exhausted from the littlest thing. If I sleep much during the day, I will sleep broken at night, which is frustrating.

A ridge is forming on my scar. I also think one dissolving stitch popped. I feel an indentation/hole. But I just keep it cleaned. I do not want to ask about it, as I do not feel like going anywhere, including my GYN's office.

Is all this normal? Is it okay to eat normally, or should I be on a diet so I don't gain weight? I lost some, as I see my arms and face are thinner, a little.

I crave chocolate. I still have my ovaries and tubes. It was done abdominally. (if that helps)

Any advice?
Ranger (my cat's name)

Hi Ranger
I am just 3 weeks post op so I remember quite clearly how I felt last week-totaly exhusted! I kept drifting off to sleep as I tried to watch t.v. or read -that is ok! from what I have read here and My DR that is what we need to heal. I still get tired and have to rest -but not like last week where it would be overwhelming.

About your stitch-um maybe you might like to call & check in-My disolving stiches started "popping" a bit and I did call in and it was fine as it was not oozing ect-but I felt better knowing -and they were glad I called.

Chocolate-MMMMMMM I have been craving it too!! Ii have heard it helps lift spirits, so I am going with that as I munch a dark chocolate "bunny ear"

Best to you!
