I Dont Want To Go!!!!!!!

What cancer place? What's your situation? If you have been diagnosed and are reluctant to pursue treatment, maybe you ought to shift over to cancer concerns forum for a little hand-holding!

I Dont Want To Go!!!!!!!

I have not been diagnosed yet with anything except fibroids and cysts. My Dr said my cbc was off and she was worried about my white count. She said it was high so she is sending me to a cancer center this morning for more tests! Two cbcs from her and a US from my gyno I am just sick of visits to the dr!I told ya I was being a baby!

I Dont Want To Go!!!!!!!

Sweetie, you're not being a baby. You are afraid of the unknown. That's normal.

I feel the same way some days....if I just curl up in a ball and pull the covers over my head, will all of this just go away????

Hang in there. You have no idea what the docs are going to say, so just try to stay grounded till all the tests are complete.

Let us know later today how things went ok?

I Dont Want To Go!!!!!!!

At my first pre-op appointment with the doctor who did my surgery, he mentioned that since my uterine lining was too thick he thought I might have endometrial cancer and wanted me to have an endo-biopsy before surgery so he'd know what to expect. That kind of threw me into a tail spin and really frightened me. Just the thought of maybe having cancer and having to have chemo and/or radiation filled me with 10 times the dread having surgery did.
On the day my biopsy was scheduled I headed for the doctor's office......and found myself wanting more than anything to turn around and RUN the other way. I made myself go. Then waited on pins and needles for a week waiting for the doctor's office to call and tell me the results.
Fortunately my biopsy came back benign.....as did all the pathology on all the various cysts and tumors that were removed during my surgery. Hopefully yours will turn out all clear as well.
You are not the only one that's ever been scared.

Hang in there and Good Luck!!!

I Dont Want To Go!!!!!!!

OK WOW!THat was not as bad as I thought The cancer dr thought my white count was due to endo. But he did want to run some more blood tests and told me he would call me within a week with the results but he did not expect that he would find anything other than maybe an infection from some of the icky stuff in my uterus So I am allllllllll happy now and just looking forward to this surgery so I hope to not have all the pain and icky feelings anymore! Only 3 weeks to go. Kinda ***** I will be in the hospital on Mothers day but oh well my kids can just spoil me extra right??
