biopsy results-such a relieve

Hello,
I wanted to share with you that the biopsy results from my D&C are back. I called the Gyn with some questions today. When she returned my call, she told me that the results are in and that nothing is wrong at all. The polyps turned out to be buldges in my uterus, the endometrium is fine ( despite the 12 mm). The hysteroscopy also showed nothing abnormal. Apparently, I have dysfunctional uternine bleeding, may be I will start on a birthcontrol pill.
I want to tell everyone here, what wonderful women you are. I had been scarred and alone throughout the last weeks and it made such a big difference for me to find support, encouragement and lots of information here.
Thank you and a big hug.
Tinka

Excellent!!

Hi Tinka,
NOW, I see your thread...after I just PM'd you!

I am so happy for you that all is well and healthy. The uterine bleeding is livable and will be controlled with the BC pills. I am soooo glad it was nothing more! I know you are relieved as well!

Doing lots of happy dancing and jigging for you!!

Tinka, I am so pleased for you. There are lots of different treatments out there for simple dysfunctional bleeding and I am sure you will be able to deal with that. "Cancer-free" sounds wonderful, doesn't it?

Hello
not to have to worry about cancer any longer is fantastic. It took a while to sink in yesterday, as the Doc had been pretty certain that something was wrong. I wish everyone here the best for the future. This group here at the message board is very special. I will never forget what I learned and experience in this last month. The Gyn told me that if anything changes with my cycle in the future, I have to come and see her imediatly. I will never have a family practitioner brush me off again, when I feel that something is wrong.
Hugs
Tinka
