4 days post-op Stir Crazy!!

Hi all-
I had a LAVH on 4/14 and came home on 4/15. I have no idea what I can/can not, should/should not do. I get up and walk around, shower, empty the dishwasher, sort mail, etc., but that's about it. My husband has been doing everything else.

Will I have to lay on the couch for 2 weeks???

AHHHHH!

Thanks for having me here. Anxious to hear your experiences.

4 days post-op Stir Crazy!!

Hi, looks like you are one day behind me. I am pretty much only doing what you are doing. The doctor said for the first 2 weeks only do what I was doing in the hospital except to walk around the house more. I am feeling pretty good, except that I came home with a Foley catheter, so I am a little stir crazy. I go back to DR. on Tues to get the catheter removed and will ask lots of questions then about what I can really do. Will try to post to let you know what he says then. Hang in there. We will both be up and at them completely before we know it.

Hi there, I also had mine on 4/14 came home on 4/16! Take it easy! I did too much walking yesterday and today I am really sore! I have 3 kids, 2, 4, 10 so daddy is doing it all and I am looking at it as a very long vacation! Rest and healing is very important. Take care!

Thanks! I guess the percocet is making me feel better than I actually am (i can definitely tell when it wears off!)

Guess this means I won't be driving my daughter to school tomorrow, huh?
