prolapse feeling

I had a TAH on 7/1/03. Lately I have that same bulge feeling in the vagina area. It comes and goes depending on if I lift "anything" or are on my feet for long periods of time. I probably did not do myself any good after my TAH as I did not stay off my feet at all. I was up and moving/ walking alot. lifting etc.
If I look in a mirror ( hard to look between your own legs) I can see something protruding in the vagina.
I don't have a hard time with BM or urination. I generally feel ok 1st thing in the AM but if I stay on my feet, it gets worse. I can feel it kind of , when sitting also.

prolapse feeling

((((Donna))))) I'm so sorry that Prolapse feeling is back

I had a rectocele repaired at the same time as my TVH and one of the instructions was that the lifting and straining restrictions would be prolonged beyond the initial 6 weeks of recovery. In fact, those restrictions are permanent

I guess that the first thing you need to do is to contact your doctor and get the situation appraised. You may not be dealing with a prolapse. Even if it should be a prolapse, early diagnosis may mean that correcting it without surgery is possible.

Sending lots of s your way. Plese keep us posted.
