Calendar for the week of April 19

Hi, Ladies! Here's wishing you all the best possible news:

Limbo, Katie, Joyce - Hope your doctors' appointments go well.

Linda - oh, I hate that drink, too. Yuk!

Audrey - may your PAP test come back totally clean.

Good luck to all of you and let us know how you're doing.

Best,

Ellen:

You are so right about the "outcome" of the barium!! I actually made my appointment at a center closer about to home! Where I usually go it's about a 30 minute drive...this one is only 7 minutes! Hopefully this will help me stay "cleared out" for my colonoscopy next week.

I've got the drinking down to a science...chill the stuff completely, drink with a straw...place the straw beyond the taste buds...and chug, chug, chug!

Marl...I also noticed that it did not taste as bad the last two times. Maybe we're getting more used to it?

Best wishes to all this week. I will know the results of my CT next Wednesday when I see my oncologist. Then I will be on to the colonoscopy next Friday. That's the one I'm worried about!

Good Luck , ladies!

Limbo, good luck on your follow up! I hope you only get good news! Go for the gold on that scootch!!

Katie and Jmac: Good luck with your appointments! I hope you find all of your questions answered by the gyn/onc and get a good plan made. Let us know how it goes!

Oh, Linda !!! Good luck with the drink for the CT scan!! I kind of hold my nose and chug it as fast as possible!! May your scan be NORMAL and all clear!!!

Audrey: Normal pap is my prayer for you, with no problems with that in the future!! Scootch well!!!

's to all of you!

Linda, Kate, & Joyce --May you have only good news with your appointments.

Linda--I get to take Gastrographin in fruit punch for my CTs. Too bad everyone can't. It actually tastes good. May your test be very normal.

Audrey-Have a normal pap and a perfect 10 scootch.

I have an appointment with my oncologist to discuss my slowly rising CA 125 tests, I then see my gyn/onc next month for another opinion on what to or not to do.

Thanks for your well wishes ladies!

Linda - hope your CT scan comes out clear. Don't you wish for a chololate flavored drink? But then, it might taste chalky and that may ruin your taste for the good stuff, like godiva.

AudreyS. - hope your follow up pap goes well and you are not "oozing" too much now.

Ruth - hope your appt. with the onc. goes smoothly as well.

Best wishes and much love to all!

(((Debbie))): I'll think of you while you think of me! What time is the PET scan? I know you're supposed to put your brain on "hold" during the scan, but I'll be thinking of you!

Pencil me in for Thursday

I go Thursday for surgery to remove another chunk of my vagina (is there any left?!). It is either a new tumor or radiation damage and won't know which till then. Going to pick up my CT results from last week today so I can take them when I go for pre-op tomorrow, keeping fingers crossed on that one too.

WOW!! This has turned out to be a very busy week!

(((Pam))) Youmust be so nervous about your surgery. I hope they find out it is *only* radiation damage. You've already paid your dues and deserve to be Cancer-free!

(((Debbie))) Good luck with your PET scan. I hope it shows everything to be perfectly normal!

(((Ruth))) That pesky CA125! I hope you are able to figure out what's going on and that the onc has nothing but good news for you.

(((Audrey))) Good luck with your follow-up! I hope you get the all-clear so that there's no more surgeries for you!

Ladies, I will be keeping you all in my thoughts and 'ers. I'll look forward to hearing from each of you when you return from your appointments. Good luck!
