Back pain

Hi everyone!!!!

Hope all is as good as it can be. My question is can scar tissue give you back pain with occassional abdominal pain.

I overdid it a few weeks ago when my back was already hurting. I spent the night in the hospital for pain management. I am still in alot of pain and going to a different doc tomorrow. I have a problem with building up scar tissue fast and adhesions and am worried this is what is going on again.

Plus when I tried to have a bm today I had a hard time going and to my surprise I have a bulge again around my rectum. I had a rectocele repair last Dec. did I mess something up again?

I think my body is falling apart all over again.

I am not a dr

I am not a dr but I have been suffering from back pain for about 4 years now. My drs seem to think that alot of it is coming from the adhesions in my pelvic region. When I did have the surgery done on 2/27/04 the back pain eased off a little but I am afraid to say each day it worsens a little more. I have sij dysfunction also so that effects my sciatia causing my right let to go numb I was just recently dxd with restless leg syndrome. But please do call your :dr: with any questions about worsening or severe pain maybe he or she can help.
Sometime we may have overdone it and caused some lil slip up in there that the man in the white coat needs to look at.
Take care

Back pain

I had back pain before the hysterectomy but it's gotten worse, and is far more debilitating. I have some arthritis in my back, but that doesn't explain all of the pain all of the time.

My physiotherapist also suggested that pelvic adhesions could cause this. So, I see an osteopath now every two week, alternating with the regular physio appointments. I've only done this for one month but there has been some slight improvement. Apparently it will take at least another few months to see significant and long-lasting changes. After I complained about painful intercourse, the osteopath decided to try to "free up" some of my abdominal region this Wednesday. They are very gentle and non-invasive treatments.

You may want to investigate these sorts of treatments for yourself.

Best wishes,
