New Concern about sorness

Dear Sisters,

I have a kind of new problem. Right above the left side of my incision ,it's sore to the touch or when I lean against something. Also there is a small Hard lump in the same area.
I've noticed this for a few weeks ,but it seems more tender lately.

Plus I'm still freaking out about the fact that it's been 31/2 months since my last Chemo and still no hair on my head. Everyone keeps telling me my hair will return ,but eveyone elses hair started to return in about 1 or 2 months.

I'd really appreciate hearing from you gals on either subject.

The next time you have a checkup, tell your doctor about this. It could be a hernia. I have a nice one on the upper left. The doctor can tell easily. As for your hair, well it says in a couple places that it can take 3-5 months to start regrowing...you're in the time frame but it's maddening, I know. The day after the last chemo we all want out hair back--in full. ARe you getting any arm and leg hair or facial fuzEyebrows and eyelashes?

I do have a hernia at the site of my surgery. It will need to be operated on, but it's just a nuisance-nothing serious. It sounds like that could be what your lump is

Margaret, Yes I'm getting hair in the arnpits,pubic area, a tiny bit on my legs, but my head is very smooth, You can almost see your reflection in it, except in one small area there is a bit of peach fuzz.

As for the soreness near my incision, is a hernia a regular thing that can happen after a TAH?
