Question about your books

I am planning on purchasing the hystersisters book, but I wanted to know what it was all about.

I am also thinking about purchasing th journal.

I know since it is "our" book that we may be biased, but I am on a limited income. I would like to have both.

I guess the ? I am trying to get it is would the journal benefit as much as the other book, or would I be fine with just getting the book.

I hope I did not confuse anyone here.

I really would like the delux princess package and be able to join as a member but with our financial siutation I do not see that

Thanks All

Question about your books

The book is good, it's like having the website with you even when you don't have access to a computer. The journal is also great, but if you can't do both any diary or notebook could be used.

The journal has pages for all your information: time and date of surgery, it has checklists and pre op questions, with space for the answers, a place to write your pre op instructions, a place to write what daily meds you may take, a phone list, etc. Also the pages to write your story. I use mine a lot as a Hostess so I can refresh my memory, cause it's amazing how fast we forget the bad stuff. I wrote in mine daily from the day it came til about four weeks after surgery. Then I kind of tapered off, once a week, once a month, now just when there is some special date, like 1 year post op, 2 years post op, etc.

Hope this helps! Whether or not you purchase the HS Journal I do recommend keeping some kind of a record for yourself of what you're going through. It may help in the future.

Best wishes.

Question about your books

I also have a question on the book. What is the delivery time for this to get to me if I ordered it? I will be going in Tuesday and would like to take it with me if I can get it that soon? Any ideas?

Question about your books

Thanks that helped m,e clear things up, I would much rather have te book and journal as unless I have something specific to write in that already has places, well then I do not do much good with

That was a good question about how soon it takes to receive the book.

Thanks for you imput.

Question about your books

Of course we are biased but think the Hystersisters book is a great resource for pre-op and post-op.

Delivery time is explained in the store...but we are faster than we promise.

The Hyster Sisters ships daily, sending out the orders from yesterday today via USPS priority mail (2-3 day delivery).

Hope this helps!

P.S. You mentioned you couldn't afford joining Hyster Sisters membership is you are already a member just for joining. Upgraded memberships that give you added membership benefits helps to keep the website free for all members and starts at 25.00 per year.
