Up Date on My Fistula

Hi there everyone, Well after nearly 10 months yes I am still here looking on this site. I went for an x ray yesterday to see how my fistula was going..Well they couldn't find it on the picture. Good news. I still have my stoma for a time yet as my doc said that I need to have no discharge from the vagina for 6 months before they will reversed it. Lots of scar tissue has to form over it. Anyway just letting all your lovely ladies know whats going on with me. I hope all you people are doing well. Bye for now and will keep you updated as I go along. love Beth.

Yeah its not an easy road for some of us after a hysterectomy is it?

Colovaginal Fistula

Hi Beth -

Thanks for the update. You sound good !!

I'm just past a year anniversary for my colovaginal repair. It's such a long road to a full recovery. It sounds like your fistula came about like mine - endo and adhesions.

Take care and keep us updated.

Anita
