vivelle dot

I am 13 weeks post op and have been having some problems which I think may be related to the hormone that I am on. I am on estrace and am having depression, nausea and diarrhea. Based on some of the comments that I see other gals on estrace my doseage seems much higher. I am 38 and had a tah and both ovaries removed because of endometriosis. I have seen remarks by other gals about the vivelle dot. Just wondering if I should pursue this with my doctor and does anyone know about the side effects of the vivelle dot?

Shelb,

You may want to check in the Hormone Jungle or check out their site online. You can do an online search for that...Google or whatever.

I've been on Vivelle-dot since the day of surgery and it's been wonderful for me. I have no mood swings, no migraines, no problems whatsoever. I know it's not always an instant match for everyone, but except for cutting the dose in half after the first month, it has been "perfect."

One question tho...I thought you couldn't use HRT for a while if you had endo? Just curious

Hi:
I have been on the Vivelle Dot since 5 days post op. It seems to work for me. I did not want to take anything as I had endo, adeno but my dr. said to as she did not want my emotions to be on a roller coaster. Its has helped. I was on 0.05 and now I am on a little bit lower 0.37 but I don't think its enough might go back to 0.05 I am a tad bit moody, but it could be I am 6 weeks post op and all the sudden my family just stopped with the helping so I am very frustrated at that, but no hot flashes. My dr. did give me some estrace cream 3 times a week to help my healing and it has worked wonders.
