Hi there, ((((sweetie))))

I'm sorry that you're still feeling so tired, this late in your recovery. I know you've probably seen this before, but it won't hurt to repeat it: recovering from this surgery will take between 6 months to one full year. I was a good 8 months before I stopped thinking that "I'd just had surgery" and, even then, I would still feel the aches and pains and this feeling of fatigue just wash over me whenever I did a little more than usual.

This fatigue, as well as the swelly belly and the aches and pains are all signs that your body is telling you to slow down and rest a little. The best thing to do is to listen: grab a good book, or a good movie, settle down on the couch or in your bed, be sure to have your feet up and just relax. Guess there are advantages to being a

Hang in there, before long you'll realize that you're feeling stronger and stronger and that you don't need as much rest. Until then, give your body a chance.

Hang in there!!!!

Thanks for the support. I am glad to be on this forum. It really has helped all along my journey - from the day I found out I needed a TVH, and throughout my recovery. This is an awesome forum! Thanks Again.

I'm sorry you feel bad. It does take everybody a different amount of time to fully heal. You might ask you Dr to check you hormone levels. I'm 22 months post Hyster and have had to change my dosage due to simular symptons. It won't hurt to ask. Take care of yourself. Good luck.
