Night Sweats

Hi Kadin,

Unfortunately this is a pretty common problem ...

During my early post op recovery I took Tylenol PM to help me sleep and that worked well. Sometimes the docs will prescribe a mild sedative like Ambien, if you really are struggling with not being able to sleep.

I'm finding that my night sweats are coming back now that the weather is getting warmer, so I'm looking for some new strategies too. I think it's time to get rid of that extra blanket and crank up the fan ...

Let us know what you decide to try and how you are doing, okay?

Night Sweats

This too shall pass (or at least settle down) but it does take

Dress in cotton, use a fan, avoid alcohol and caffine. If your symptoms are severe, some docs will also prescribe an antidepressant, but it takes 2-6 weeks to see an effect.
