Ditto... I have B12 shots monthly and figured that I wouldn't need them anymore, but now I'm not so sure...
Iam not sleeping well this week at all and was wanting to blame it on the hormones...

Surgery

Surgery can make one very moody. First of all you have drugs in your system that you don't normally have. Also, having surgery is not fun! There is the pain, the disruption of your life, etc.
Of course I understand you wanting to feel better but maybe you are just being a little hard on yourself...............You have been through a major experience.
As for sleep, I was always told anesthesia in your system make you sleepy and sleep is needed for healing. Pain medication and anti biotics can also make some people sleepy.
If you feel you can't handle it or are tired of trying to handle it on your own call your Dr. Maybe there is something they can do to help you.

Hang in there. I hope you get to feeling better real soon!

Why am I so moody??

I also kept my ovaries and find that I have also been moody. Today is two weeks to the day I had my TVH. I must admit, it seems to get better each day. I am not sleeping well at all, and I'm sure that has somethign to do with it. When one is up all night walking the halls, it surely has to impact your mood the following day...

Why am I so moody??

I've noticed that what I eat has a HUGE impact on what my moods are like. The more sugar and processed foods i eat, the more moody I get. I've since cut out processed sugars and flours, and all convenience foods, and am cooking with raw ingredients. It's making a big difference. And I mean BIG.

Why am I so moody??

I am almost 3 wks post-op and I have bad modd swings, insomnia, depression and I have both of my ovaries too. It seem that we wouldnt go thru hormonal changes, because we still have our ovaries. o well i'm sure it will get better with time. Good Luck Get Well Soon!
