Could I have blown it at 4 months PO?

I'm 4 months post op, have been doing heavy gardening, am tender and feel a thickening in the upper vaginal area I havent felt since pre-surgery. I'm hoping its just swollen as I'm not pain pill tender but still tender like I should lay down.
This is so dumb, I would not be working this hard but for a wedding shower thats to take place at my house in 1.5 wks. Its for my niece, about 35 people. My sister and friends came to do a garden work party, my sister and I worked beyond our physical limets, why do we do that!!!!!
What are the bad things that can happen by over-extending oneself. At 3 months I finally felt great, now get tender easy!
Thanks a ton and yes I'm being stupid by not limiting myself more.

Could I have blown it at 4 months PO?

Hi Mary, I understand how you're feeling. I'm now 3 1/2 wks post-op and have started feeling different feelings down in the vagina and bladder and think to myself, did I over do it or what? And at the moment, I'm not calling the dr. I'll take it easy a bit and I'm sure it will all be okay. This is what I feel, our insides are still healing and everytime we use those muscles and strain them then we're going to feel the effects, we'll probably be feeling this for still a while longer. What's hard is we look fine on our outsides and think our insides should look the same, but unfortunately they don't. e.g., think of scraping/cutting your arm or leg and had to get a few stitches, well, the stitches would heal first, then a severe redness surrounding the stitches would be very noticeable mostly since we can see it visaby, and then still it's all healing on the inside of the arm/leg (think how long you'd see the scar, long time I bet). So, as I feel, this is kinda an example of our insides ... even though the dr. will okay us at 4-8 wk intervals to start driving, exercising, sex, etc., still our inside bodies are in complete disarray and our muscles are still healing that were cut, etc. I hope I helped a little in what I'm trying to say here, I wish you the best and I know you'll be okay, sometimes just taking a few advils will help. Have a great wedding shower!!! A Sister friend, Marty
