Gas problems geez

Mei,
It could be that your tummy is having a problem with the heavy greasy foods. Might be worth mentioning to the doctor. Have you tried taking some gasx or something similiar? If it were me I'd stay away from the gassy type foods.

Gas problems geez

((((Mei)))) From one sy lady to another, let's just say I understand And yes, greasy, spicy foods will, almost, inevitably set off a flare of the old IBS

KFC is one of the household favorite I simply refuse to indulge in, for my own sake.

Hang in there sweeties, and do mention the reaction to your doctor

Kim and Dany for sur e I will . Initially it was opsy haha . now is oh no not again .. i suppose its better than those days I was in hospital where everything was jammed inside . I was bloated and distended in pain because the gas was trapped .

Im so resigned to it . I have noticed a change in my bowel movement too . I dont get it all out at one sitting ( no pun Intended LOL) . I go then some hours later opsy I gotta go .. then Umm BRB i gotta go .. its not diarrhoea .. normal stool but gross How many times do I ahve to go running .

But if I open my big mouth they will do the colon scope for sure .. Hokey pokey down there isnt my idea of fun .

My consult with the surgeon is on tuesday and iM edgy already .. going nuts just waiting .

mei

Oh (((Mei)))) I can really understand why you are not looking forward to colonscopy but PLEASE do mention the problems you've been having to your doctor. However uncomfortable the tests might turn out to be, it is your opportunity to uncover the cause of your problems and get at the root of them.... And knowing the cause is the first step towards, finally, healing.

Please, sweetie, promise that you'll be a good girl and will mention all the troubles you've been having: you're well worth the trouble

Gas problems geez

(((mei)))
The colonscopy, at least for me, wasn't as bad as it sounds. For me, the prep was the worst part. I've had several and with each of them the docs gave me enough meds that I was pretty much in lala land. I think that it's best to explore all avenues and rule things out when you're having problems. Good luck tomorrow!

Gas problems geez

Good luck tomorrow ((((Mei)))... I'm sorry if I sounded too much like a mom... guess that's because I'm one of those .... But it's also, and mostly, because I know the importance of being honest with our physicians

I'll be waiting to read your update after your visit at the Doctor's.
