Doc changed date

When I went to the doctor on Friday, I overheard her tell the chief resident ( who just had to poke at me too!) that my surgery date would be June 21. She just called this morning and said it would be July 6th!!! I am just so tired of being in pain and bleeding I asked her if she could move it up to please do so and, of course, she said she would, but I don't see it happening. I have been unable to work for 2 months, and unfortunately, I make the most money in our house! Now I have an additional 2 weeks to freak out!! I do go in on the 8th of June for an ultrasound ( to determine if they can do it vaginally or not), but the hospital is over an hour and a half away and I am at my wits end! Prayers please!!!!!

Geniann -

Sorry the date got changed on you. I think the waiting is the worst. I've been in a fog since getting an official date. If your new date holds, we're scheduled on the same day.

I tried to schedule around my schedule...I have some things happening in June that I can't miss, so I need to wait till July. I've never been so unproductive in my life. I seem fine to the outside world but think I'm really obsessing on the inside. The result is spending time surfing the internet for information and then obsessing some more! My business is suffering from lack of attention, but I just don't seem to care. I'm self employed so this is really a problem.

I know I'm not much help here, but just wanted to let you know you're not alone.

Thanks searchgal- it is so nice to know that I am not alone. I see we are both from PA- even though Philidelphia is far from Smithfield! I spend countless hours on this computer too! I try not to read the horrific encounters but I just love all the great info and stories! Thanks again- Best of luck to u!

I know that this is not what you want to hear. But I to had everything that you have when I was preg. startng at 21 wks. I had surgery when I was 27 wks along. i know waiting is hard but think about your baby. If for some reason and your baby gets stressed during the operation is as a better chance of surviving after 27 wks. tha's what my dr's told me. I is very hard to wait, I understand your pain, I was on high dosages of demerol during the last 20 wks of my preg. and they ended of taking my daughter early. I am also in several pain and have lots of bleeding ( periods lasting for 14 days), because of adesions. You will make it though it, take one mintue at time. What worked for me is I take hot shower/baths, to try and relax myself when the pain got its worst.
