Bladder suspension

This is my first post although I have been reading nightly for the last three weeks. The information has been priceless to me. Thanks to all. I am wondering if a bladder sling and bladder suspension are the same thing. I am scheduled for TAH and bladder suspension on June 3. Dr is taking both ovaries, cervix and all. Cancer history in family is prevalent so not taking any chances. Anyone had a bladder suspension?

Bladder suspension

Hi,
I looked at the site pelvicfloor.com graphic, but it looks like the same thing as the sling my doctor did, not positive but from the pictures and reading seems the same. I tell you sneezing is a breeze now!! I am at 4 weeks and there is still some swelling but I am also not up as often at night to pee now. I am glad I did it!
My doc said it is like a ribbon, that holds it up and gives it more strengh.

good luck you will do fine, it truly is not as bad as I had imagined and happy I did it.
Hugs to you
M
