Returning To Work

I'm 10 days away from my castle date and I am getting so nervous about it. I've known since the end of January. It really hasn't bothered me too much. I have wanted this for a long time. I thought I was a Super-Hee Woman. Now my thoughts and emotions are running wild. ( I Know This Is Normal) I am a Bus Driver/Custodian. I needed to wait for school to get out so as I wouldn't be losing 2 checks. My co-workers have donated sick days to me so I am able to take 7 weeks off. I am already worring about returning to work. There is so much work that we do in the summer to prepare for the next year. I plan on returning on the 1st of August. School starts on the 18th. I have put my co-workers in such a bind. The waiting hasn't seemed very long. The time has flown by quick.

I love this site. It has made me relize all my fears and worries are normal. I'm not really crazy.

I do plan on taking advantage of the fact that I need to be pampered by my family and friends. (for 7 weeks)

Returning To Work

Hi Wendy!

That is so thoughtful and sweet of your co-workers to donate sick days to you -- how very fortunate you are! At this point, please don't worry about returning to work. You can cross that bridge when you come to it. For now, take care of yourself the best you can before your visit to the Castle, so that you are at optimum health. It sounds to me like you have a good attitude going into this, and that should serve you well in your recovery.

Best wishes to you!
