Time to visit the DR

Hi Ladies,
Ive been reading for hours tonight...learning soo much trying to keep it all straight. Ive decided to make an appt with an endo crinologist..to see where i am with all this hormone stuff, only because i have diabetes and ive been having other issues since i started using the estradiol patch..I also found a compounding pharmacist and hopefully after i get the test results back i can get myself together . Ive been using the progesterone cream in the morning and at night. so far.. no changes im still crying at the drop of a hat feeling miserable about myself from the weight gain and as far as new aches and pains i have them each and every morning. I found a lump under my arm this am, first thought was to panic and then i decided to just believe its a ingrown hair... hmmm Time for another visit to the doctor.. ill keep u informed..

Time to visit the DR

Hi Katt I've split your post off into its own new thread so you can get better support.

I'm glad you're going to see a DR and get some testing done. Diabetes does complicate things, so an endocrinologist is probably a good choice for you now.

Do make sure to have the lump looked at... you're right, it could very well be an ingrown hair, but it's best not to ignore anything *new* in that area. Are you getting regular mammograms? If not, this would be a good time to have one, just to be sure.

Let us know how your appointment goes, OK?
s,
-Linda
