I wore white pants today:)

Well ladies I wore a pair of white jeans to work today, can you believe it...This is something I would of never done before. What freedom... I bought the jeans years ago and haven't felt comfortable to wear them so when I tried them on this morning they were actually baggy on me another plus...I went back to work last week and doing great. I walked to day about a mile for my lunch hour and I am sure I'll be ready for bed tonight but right now feel fine.
I do have a slight discharge(reddish color) when I go to the bathroom, it is only when I wipe. (Sorry for the graphics) It is not all the time and I don't have to wear anything(pads) I am assuming this is normal. I have my check up on the 23rd of this month so I was just going to wait until then to talk to the dr. Let me know if anyone else has this...I had my surgery on May 10th 2004.

I had a discharge still when I went for my 6 week post-op check up. It was very slight and sort of brownish.

It sounds pretty normal, but eveyone is different . If it is new blood or just started up after not having it , then I would give the dr a call and just check and see what they think. It never hurts to check with them. I know I talked to the dr's nurse a couple of times while I was recovering. It also maybe you are not healed and the increased activity could be a factor.

You are doing very well, for back to work and walking a mile, etc.. GOOD for you! I went back to work a day before 5 weeks half day the first week, then fully time, I was SOOO tired when I got home , I would just CRASH and nap until dinner time. and I would hurt too. I found that I had more of a discharge than I had ever had those first 2 weeks I went back to work, but the Dr. said that was normal because I was alot more active, AND he put in a suture material that dissolved in 4-7 weeks, so he said that was to be expected, It was dark brownish- pinkish too. When I would rest, it would lighten up.. So just take it easy.. I am glad you are feeling so well, Still, take things slow , as you are still healing inside... Kathie

Oh,. BTW, doesn't it feel GREAT to wear white pants?? I think I need to loose about 10 more lbs. before I will feel good in white pants, as they seem to PUT more weight on you (thighs and rear and hips)... I still think I look better in jeans or dark colored pants, (black).. But CONGRATS!! Kathie
