Hi delaine
I also have a menningeoma it is a tumor, just not a malignant one. If we had to get something there this seems to be the lesser of evils. I go talk with my neuro surgeon on the 15th. The good thing is it is benign (encapslated). I am sorry you have this too. where did they say yours is located? Mine is in the right frontal lobe.
I will pray for you sweety. The sites you look at may scare you they did me, but others here who have been throught it have made me feel better. ALOT better.

But you didn't know otherwise?

Sometimes, when I am trying to like lay on my stomach on the couch or on the floor - my head feels like it is going to explode. I get a really bad pressue and almost a migraine headache and if I turn my head to the side and take deep breaths, it finally goes away. I knew of a woman that had those problems and turned out she had a tumor. Just one of those things I am really scared of. Possibly just coincidence.

I get a sharp pain in the right side of my head very localized..only had one real bad head ache that went ALL over my head.. sent me to the ER..was vomiting , blurred gray vision. I couldn't even touch my head. That's why they did the CAT scan on me..up until then I never sufferd migrains. Mine is small too..don't know why my head acted up so bad..maybe in combination of the other stuff I had going on.
I look at it this way I'm glad they found it early..I think it would be less truamatic to remove a small one than a larger one.
I do hope both you ladies feel better soon.
