Hives with Migraine?

Sorry that the beta-blocker didn't work out for you. I wasn't aware that you were asthmatic or that was a problem with beta-blockers. I know that you are trying to get this all worked out. I do hope the ACE Inhibitor will work for you. I was on one for awhile and I had a constant headache and was too listless to even manage working. But, we are all different and your results might be (hopefully) much better. I also take a bp med called Avapro which has had zilch side effects, but I don't know what class it is or what the contraindications are.

I don't know if it was just bad karma or what, but I had a migraine all weekend. My first one in a long time. I finally took an Imitrex about 5 am this morning (hate to do that cause they are soooo expensive) and finally got some relief. Actually, I had my second Lupron shot last week and believe that, the weather and stress was just too much for my body.

Do keep us posted!

Hives with Migraine?

I'll keep that drug name in mind.....I have alot of drug sensitivities especially due to my allergy to metabisulphites...they are snuck in so many drugs as filler or part of something else that sometimes we don't even know why I react, I just do......I'm hoping the ACE thingee works and I don't get any headaches I can say this much since I took the beta blocker despite the reaction.....I haven't had a headache since.....go figure
