Will this ever go away??? I was always a really good sleeper. I am now 8 weeks. For the first 5 weeks I was taking Ambein. When I stopped taking it for the first few days I didn't sleep very good. The next 2 weeks I was sleeping good again. The past 4 nights I have not been able to sleep good again. I have one more week before I go back to work. I need to get this under control before than. Any suggestion??? My DR will not give me anymore Ambein.
(I feel like this cat minus the scratching part)

Hey there ladybug,

I'm wide awake at 3:26 AM! But I'm sore, not suffering from insomnia. BUT, not long ago I read some posts from ladies who recently went back to work and it is EXHAUSTING THEM so that they sleep well at night. I thought you might like to know that. So hang in there. If things don't straighten out before next week, once you are working again you may end up sleeping from sheer tiredness. :-) Remember, we've been quite inactive during recovery compared to before recovery.

I hope this gives you some peace.

Have u got any Lavender essential oil, or could you get some? I know its associated with little old ladies (OK for me then ) but just 3 drops on a pillow, or on a handkerchief under your pillow and it'll help you drop off.....zzzzzz

The other thing that works well for me is foot massage. You don't need to know any special method, and I always think that you'll also be doing reflexology without trying as you're bound to hit the pressure points. Just use a nice handcream and rub your feet and toes all over just before nap time - you'll find it really works - or better than bending (in our condition) get someone else to rub your feet for you (except I'd die of laughing as i'm so tickly when someone else touches my feet!!!!)

Hope these ideas help.

Much love
