So, we went to the movies...

DH and I went to the movies yesterday - first time in months to see 'The Day after Tomorrow' - I figured it would look better on The Big Screen instead of on DVD...

Because my world revolves around my poor squashed bladder, I 'went' before we left home, and thought I'd go again when I got there, then I could hang on for 2 or so hours...

Well.... outside the 'Ladies' was a little plastic sign 'CLOSED'.

Closed? C L O S E D !!!! ????? What ! Oh gasp !! Oh no !!

As the situation was not dire we went to get our seats and sit through all the ads and previews and so on.

DH was chattering on about this and that - all I could think of was C L O S E D !!!!?????

Reason told me they were probably just cleaning, so with about 3 minutes to go I scuttled out to have a look...

Oh bliss ! Oh unconfined joy! Oh happiness ! It was open again.

So I tootled in and 'went' and then went back to enjoy the film (which I did)

I look forward to the day when my poor little bladder has room to run and play and fill happily to its normal capacity ( I am so sorry, my bladder, that this has happened to you)

Think I'm losing my grip...

So, we went to the movies...

Very clever and funny!

In my case the MRI showed that the fibroid (the "basketball") had squished my bladder flat like a banana peel.

All is better now

Iphie ? Like a banana peel ? Yikes !

I'm having a scan in two weeks time.. an Ultrasound - only ever had one before, four years ago, which was when the aliens were detected.

I didn't like it then - and they had the nerve to fix me with a beady eye and say 'Are you *sure* you drank all the water you had to drink?' when my bladder was on the verge of exploding... and my tummy was nowhere near the size it is now, so I am dreading it... I guess the habit here isn't to use an MRI - think we have all kinds of peculiar rules about them, not to mention it is very expensive whereas an ultrasound is cheap (all will cost is my sanity and an exploded bladder plus a few bucks)

Anway, very glad yours is all better
