Fibroids/ovarian Cancer Symptoms

Last year I was diagnosed with " fibroids" with a 5 month size uterus, my ultrasound showed that ovaries were "normal" in appearance. I've read so much in news articles and internet ect..
the silent symptoms of ovarian cancer .. bloating, frequent urination..then I was scared, sounds like alot of my symptoms, but alot of the symptoms of fibroids are the same it seems...could I have both and not know it? if my ovaries looked " normal" should I be relieved?? very confused right now, I go for my yearly on July1st, will ask then but was hopeing someone could shed some light...thanks anyone

Fibroids/ovarian Cancer Symptoms

I had the same concern because i have a personal hist of thyroid cancer and our family has lots of breast cancer survivors. I asked my dr. about it and he said that while rare, ovarian cancer is usually very aggressive and the fact that i have been having symptoms for some time now is actually a good sign.

i know it sounds weird, but that calmed quite a few of my fears.

hope it helps
