another week has past and still I get worse?

Hi girls, well here I am a week later and gettng worse everyday bladder symptoms are way better since the distension (a few spasms here and there) but the incision pain is way worse and is going around to my lower back and right hip by the end of the day, it hurts just to walk....

I find if I press on a certain point of my lower back it helps abit but basically I have to go home and lie down for an hour and a half before the pain will subside.....and I don't see the gyn until Dec. 11th...and am terrified she will just pat me on the head and say "you're still healing and what are adhesions again????"

To top it off I have been getting these palpitations in my chest, sorta feels like my heart "gallops" for about three or four seconds and then goes away...yesterday I got some whopper chest pains and one of them even went down my right arm (it's the left arm you have to worry about right??) What do you think I should make of these????

Help, I have the "just fought my way through an incredibly painful week again blues"

Hmmm. have you ever had anyone check for gallstones, gidge? That right-handed pain radiating to the back is a classic symptom. Gall bladder problems are a known problem of menopause and fluctuating hormones levels and HRT. I'd at least ask, if you haven't been checked. I think an ultrasound can find the stones. I hope a reasonable solution shows up for you soon!

I'm sorry things are worsening Before my last surgery they checked for Gallbladder troubles because of the symptoms. Trish has suggested a good thing, I would have this checked out. Could you make a trip to your Primary care Doc just to be safe? Your in my prayers as always

Poor Gidge,
The gall bladder angle is one we haven't covered yet - these docs will be rich enough to retire by the time they are through with us! I don't like the sound of that pain down your arm though. I had some palpitations this last time I went off estrogen - but they are gone now. You should get it checked out.
I have had tingling and numbness in my wrists and hands- like a carpal tunnel thing when I went off estrogen - it's also getting better now.
I started with the Omega 3 essential fatty acids last night so I'll let you know how that prostaglandin theory goes. Funnily enough I had no pain this AM in my lower back, could be a coincidence - time will tell. Just that low groin RH side pain that no-one can sort out.
I hope tomorrow is a better day for you - I'll keep you in my thoughts.

thanks Trish for the gall bladder suggestion...I have had a "grumbling gall bladder" for a number of years but never anything enough for them to take it out.....this seems quite abit lower in my back (tailbone area and around to right side and down to groin and incision area) I have been using this aromatherapy oil that's an analgesic and it helps my back pain a little but nothing seems to touch the incision pain......I just realized yesterday that I have been waiting like 4mths for my bone density test, I wonder when they're going to call????
