appointment set for July 7th for removal of my fallopian tube

Hi , I finally have my date for surgery set for July 7th. My doctor really thinks that my fallopian tube is benign (I really hope she is right) but why do I still worry so much that it might be cancer? I never had cancer before in my life but I am a nervous wreck. BUt the nurse (which is wonderful) assured me that I will be fine she said if my doctor thought it was a life threatning thing she would of had me in ASAP. Did anyone have dilated fallopian tubes due to my hysterectomy? that is what my doc thinks it is. I did have a bad surgery with my hysterectomy I had it vaginally and I was packed with cotton because they couldnt get me to stop bleeding and it scared my doctor. I didnt know this until after surgery a couple of days later. So Im scared of that now but not to much because at least this new doctor is aware of it. Thanks so much for all the suport and this great site.

(((((ynos05 )))))

I am so sorry that you have to go back in and have another surgery. More than likely it is benign, but no one can say for sure until they get it out. I would say it might just be a small hematoma (due to the surgery) But make sure if you have any problems between now and your surgery to let your doctor know.

I wish you the best of luck and will pray that you will be okay.

God Bless
