dilated fallopian tube need surgery

Hi, I been on the cancer concern site for hyster sisters and been posting on there quite a bit. My question is did anyone have a dilated fallopian tube due to surgery EX: scar tissue blocking the fallopian tube etc. I had a hysterectomy 12 years ago because of prolapse and last month I went in for my annual check up and she found a dilated fallopian tube which showed up on sonogram as 5cm which I take it is pretty big. SHe wanted me to get a ct scan but right away I went back to my doctor that I had previous . I stop going to her because of insurance reason. NOw I pay for her out of pocket. anyways My old doctor told me that we can watch it and see what happens or take it out. And she really wanted to take it out. WHich of course I do too. She told me she really thinks this is benign and her best guess its from the hysterectomy surgery from 12 years ago. I did of course read up on hydrosalpinx and this is what it sounds to be does anyone out there know about this or had this happen to them ? Im scared to death thinking its cancer but my doctor said she really thinks this is benign and caused by the surgery. Thanks in advance and sorry so long

Oh ((((sweetie)))) I'm so sorry you're having such a hard time

I do not have experience with this issue, but it sounds like you've read up on it. If you are still unsure of what's the best course of action for you, you might want to seek a thirk opinion, just to be on the safe side.

Sending lots of s your way. Please be sure to keep us posted.
