MORE magazine

I subscribe to MORE magazine. A magazine for women
over 40. My July/August issue arrived yesterday.
In it there is a beautiful article titled: Randi and
Me. It is about two women friends, and one is
diagnosed with stage III ovarian cancer. Usually in
magazines we get a paragraph. This story is faily
long. The author gives too much credit to having a
ca 125 performed, but all it all, it is quite
informative. It always warms my heart to see
ovarian cancer and its symptoms printed in any
public material. And it is even better when there
is a personal story behind it.
I will email the editors of this magazine and let
them know how much I appreciate their magazine this
month. If you get the chance, purchase the magazine this month.

I'm glad we're getting national magazine coverage on this. I worked up a short bio yesterday to go in with materials when I "hit" the three newspapers here in August about OVCA and for the followup with the TV stations. For my preliminary work and followups I have heard--nothing. That's Madison, WI, for you.

Thanks for the heads up Karenann. I'll look for the magazine. The more information the better.

A year or so ago More did an article on DCIS and newer less-invasive breast biopsy procedures. I subscribe to it too. Good magazine.
