Help! Scaired To Death!!
Hello sisters!
Seems like for ever since I've visited, but how nice to be back and read some of the posts....can hardly believe I'm posting in this forum.
Had TAH/burch repair in Sept. 01 for adeno. Have always had trouble with IBS. The last 3-4 weeks i have had MAJOR bloating in my abdomen.....almost feels like I am nine months pregnant by the end of the day.
In addition, I've had stabbing like pains in my abdominal area. So, I went to the dr. this week, he order blood work, including a CA level and had a CT scan this morning. CT tech comes out of the booth and asked me if i had a total hysterectomy or not ????? Weird.
So, I'm of course scaired to death that it's ovarian cancer. Dr. scheduled a follow-up appt. next Tuesday to review results. Tonight they left a message for me to come in to the office Friday morning, so of course that sends up a red flag.......
I am so miserable with this bloating and pain, I was really hoping it was just adhesions.....anyways, I will hope for the best news tommorow.....Thanks for listening....

Help! Scaired To Death!!
Dear Lori,
Sorry to hear about your situation. Let's hope that the Dr moved up your appointment because there was an earlier opening (mayber someone cancelled) and they tried to re-juggle the schedule. It does happen.
I'll be praying--as will many others here--that your symptoms are due to something other than ovarian cancer. Please let us know how it goes tomorrow morning. We'll all be there with you.
Blessings.
Marlene

Help! Scaired To Death!!
Welcome back, Lori. How frightening this all must be for you. I was thinking exactly what Marl said; it really could be just a matter of scheduling of other patients that opened up a spot on Friday.
I hope that whatever it is, you'll work with your doctor to get a plan for what to do.
Let us know what happens Lori. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
God bless,

Lori
Waiting is always hard. Hopefully, as others have said, your appointment was changed for a scheduling reason.

Help! Scaired To Death!!
Hi,
Waiting is definetly the hardest thing. I have blood work and a CT scan schedule for next week, and I am already worried about what they may find. Praying everything goes very well for you. Please don't forget to let us know what happens. I don't post very often, but I do try to follow how people are doing and offer up my prayers and good thoughts.
