Biopsy done today
Yes, last week my GYN said we could put off the biopsy because my vulva seemed improved. Went downhill over the last week so she just did it. I lived to tell the tale. I'm home right now but really need to go into work (desk job). The results should be back in a week. I can tell this is gonna be not fun - I'm still partly numb and it feels like a knife. She gave me silvadene prescription cream. I suppose narcotics don't work well for surface pain?
Now the wait begins...

Biopsy done today
Dear Kate.....at least it's over with now. Narcotics will work but don't take them if you are going to drive to work. I hope all goes well for you.

Biopsy done today
(((Kate)))
I was so hoping that you wouldn't need to have the biopsy done. RATS!! Yes, it will become increasingly uncomfortable as the day goes by. Use cold pacs--they are a gift to us. By Sunday or Monday you shouldn't notice much discomfort left at all.
I used Advil and Tylenol alternately. I thought it was helpful. Mostly keep the pressure off and don't sit too much. Try to lay down several times to keep the swelling down. Less swelling, usually less discomfort.
I will be praying for you that the week goes by fast and that your results show that things are normal and your symptoms treatable.
