I feel so terrible I left 1 of my 3 pot-bellied pigs out tonight....From 7-11, my neighbor just called and said I think you left a pig outside I can here it making noise...O my GOD, I feel terrible.....Next to my daughter and dh my pets are so precious to me, and I forgot one..... Help, I am 4 months post-op and feeling alittle forgetful. I have my yearly exam next week, what should I tell or ask my dr..????? I'm starting to have trouble sleeping again, alittle edgy, and forgetful....I'm taking 0.5 mg of estradiol a day...Now I really cant sleep after being a horrible mom...I'm sad.....Cindybean.

Hi,

You're not a bad pet mother. Try not to be too hard on yourself.

If you have some symptoms or questions you want to discuss with the dr be sure to write them down so you have them.

You may need a tweaking of the hormones. Sometimes the first dosage they give is not always the final one . The first year post op is an adjustment emotionally, hormonally and physically.

Good luck and hope things get better for you.

Your pets love you .

It's ok....don't get so upset....animals (our babies) are the most forgiving beings on this earth. They give the most unconditional love. Just give piggy an extra treat and a big hug and all is forgiven! Piggy might have considered having the whole yard alone a big treat! LOL

Hey, I accidentally left my dog out last night, and didn't notice! I was on the computer, and I thought he was sleeping in his chair in the other room. I went up to bed, and was just dropping in to a nice sleep, when his loud yap woke me up. Poor boy must have been scratching and crying at the door for a while, so he decided to shout!
These things happen, don't beat yourself up over it, its mainly hormonal, and a downer after surgery! It all affects us differently!
Please don't get upset about it. Tell the doc that your hormones are all up the creek, and he will sort you out. But please don't get upset about your piggy, she probably had a good time without the others!

While you're stressing out over leaving lil piggy in the yard he was probably running around thinkin'........woo hoo!!! got the whole yard to myself!. Think I'll go explore over there....then over here...probably having the time of his lil piggy life, lol. Trina's right, our pets know they're loved and they're soooo forgiving. So be as good to yourself as you are to them
Happy healing!
