feeling guilty-DH just too darling

i guess we got caught up in the moment but we went ahead and went against dr. wishes....everything seems fine, but now i am having second thoughts...it hasn't been 3 weeks..i had a supracervical hyst. kept 1 ovary and the cervix..i don't blame my dh, i think i seduced him! Has anyone else been bad? and if so, is everything alright?

Shipwreck,

Just my but since you asked...you need to be VERY CAREFUL, you still have stitches inside that are healing and the chance of infection is great. Not to mention the damage that could have been done internally this soon after surgery. Hopefully you are lucky and didn't do any damage this time but don't press your luck. If I were you I'd call and schedule a look see with the doc. Yes you may have to listen to him/her chew you out some but I am sure you don't want to end up with further problems down the road.

Most doctors will tell you "nothing in the vagina" for 6 weeks. This is to help prevent infection and any tearing of the internal stitches. I would give the doctor a call in the morning and let him/her know what happened. Hopefully there was no damage and you will just end up getting a lecture. Hang in there. It will be worth the wait! Just think how awful it would be if you caused problems by jumping the gun and ending up taking an extra couple weeks or so to get the green light :cry:
