I bumped into Whitney Houston & Bobby Brown at Ft. Lauderdale airport 10 years ago! I was picking my DH up coming in from Boston...and they were on his plane!! I couldn't believe it! I was 9 months pregnant with my DD and I was standing by the gate and Whitney came out of the plane and patted my belly and went "WOW"!!! I went...Hey Whitney!!! Then out came Bobby in cognito with sunglasses and a hat on! They took off quick! He's from Boston also...I can't believe they fly Delta! My DH thought they were famous people...he saw her in first class and thought he recognized her! (What does he know?) I tell my DD til this day that Whitney Houston "touched" her!

P.S. I also met Damon Wayans, John Penette and Walt Wiley at Uncle Funny's Comedy Club here in Davie, FL. I went to see "Sonny" from General Hospital there too...but didn't have the "PLEASURE" of "meeting" him. Seeing him in the flesh was enough for me!!

I met and talked with Lyle Waggoner from the Carol Burnett Show a few years ago when my dh was invited to Alice Cooper's Celebrity Golf Tournament in Arizona. Dh played golf with Eric Dickerson. We saw a few other celebs like Leslie Nielsen, Kevin Sabo and Elke Sommer. But Lyle Waggoner was the kindest and nicest of them all. He gave me a hug and let dh take our picture together. Some of the others, especially Kevin Sabo were very snooty. Alice Cooper though is a very nice, down to earth kind of guy.

I just realized this was 21 years ago.... my god, how time flies. I met Isaac Asimov at the 1983 Worldcon Sci Fi conference. I was looking at the painting from the cover of his most recent novel, and I heard a voice behind me say "It's not for sale, Isaac." I turned around and there he was, looking so much like my great uncle Jim it was really odd.

I had a copy of Foundation's Edge in my bag, and I asked him to sign it. He took the pen, and said "Does that mean I get a kiss?" I was 18. I figured, what the heck, I can tell my grandchildren. So I gave him a peck on the cheek. I saw him again a few years later walking down a street in New York.

I met Hank Aaron (when I was about ten years old). My dad was a tennis pro at a major country club in Atlanta, they were having an awards ceremony, and Hank Aaron was the master of ceremonies. He was so nice, and I got his autograph on a napkin!

Oh gosh ... memories! I remember when I was a lot younger, about 12 or so when I had a crush on Rick Schroeder (Silver Spoons, NYPD Blue). I was at a basketball game at the LA Forum in California and my step-father knew someone who was with Rick, so I was introduced to him. I remember being nervous and excited .. I was in love with this guy!! HAHA! Turned out he was a major jerk! I said hi to him and he just said "yeah, ok" and walked off.

I once met someone so revolting to me and had to be nice, I completely blocked out the memory of who it was!

Will put on my thinking cap and work on it!

Hi; met Richard Simmons. He was at a mall in Wisconsin. I think he was there on tour or something. I happened ot be shopping there and I saw him and touched his shoulder and said Hi Richard! He was so nice. He gave me a picture of himself and autographed it too.
I also met John Cafferty and the Beaver Brown band at a casino in Mississippi. I got autographs from most of them. They were all so nice, especially the saxophone player!
